Standing Committees
RTO/ERO has several provincial committees which examine specific areas of RTO/ERO’s operations, and provide reports to both the Provincial Executive and to the Senate, RTO/ERO’s governing body.
These committees are:
- Audit
- Communications
- Health Services & Insurance
- Member Services
- Nominating
- Political Advocacy
- Pension Retirement & Concerns
- Project – Service to Others
Most committees meet quarterly, except for Health Services & Insurance Committee, which meets five to six times a year due to the importance of RTO/ERO’s Health Plans; Audit, which meets semi-annually to review RTO/ERO’s financial procedures and statements; Nominating, which meets once per year to appoint members to these committees; and Project – Service to Others which meets twice a year to review applications from Districts on proposed community projects and from relatives of members on scholarships.
