Retirement Planning Workshops

Annually, RTO/ERO presents over 30 Retirement Planning Workshops across the province for prospective members. These are organized and offered by RTO/ERO’s Pension & Benefits Officer, assisted by the various Districts in Ontario that present the workshops on a geographic basis.

During the three-hour presentation, participants will receive information on pension, financial considerations in retirement, health benefits & insurance, and personal considerations. As part of the minimal participation fee, they also receive a participant’s manual which includes the PowerPoint slide presentation, supplementary material for the slides, a section on considering a second career, a section containing frequently asked questions and RTO/ERO Fact Sheets.
