Renaissance Magazine

Renaissance is RTO/ERO's quarterly news magazine and flagship publication, delivered free to every member's residence. Published in both English and French, the magazine provides a variety of information, opinions and resources on topics of interest to retired educators.

Beginning with the Spring 2009 issue, RTO/ERO introduced themed issues of Renaissance. The inaugural theme, Travel with a Purpose, provided a forum to go into depth on a subject of great interest to our members. Our past and future themed content gives members a chance to learn more about relevant issues in one publication, but also see a diversity of ways members are engaged in various themes.

In addition to themed content, the magazine includes:

• messages from the President and Executive Director,
• profiles of RTO/ERO members,
• articles about computer technology,
• reports on community projects supported by RTO/ERO,
• book reviews of interest to retirees,
• articles on wellness and healthy lifestyles, and
• articles related to political action and social advocacy undertaken on behalf of members.

We accept letters to the editor, article proposals, photos and artwork, preferably sent to renaissance@rto-ero.org. We cannot guarantee that writing and images will be published as received. Scanned or digital images need to be high resolution (min. 5"x7" at 300 dpi).
